Centrifuge Dewatering
Centrifuge dewatering is a technique widely used for treating and processing sludges and other organic waste materials in an environmentally responsibly way.

The process uses fast rotating machinery to separate water from solids and is capable of handling a sludge throughput of 5 - 125m3 per hour, per unit. Multiple streams can be assembled where necessary as well as odour control systems incorporating either direct or indirect dosing systems.
For customers who require a complete sludge treatment solution, we can provide a liming solution to eliminate pathogens and micro-biological content, including E.coli and salmonella. Material resulting from the lime stabilization process is recognised by the Safe Sludge Matrix as being an ‘enhanced product' allowing it to be recycled to land as an agricultural fertiliser.
Centrifuge dewatering units are ideal for a number of applications, including:
- Primary and secondary sewage sludges
